Welcome to Kara's Spinster Stories. Hi. I'm Kara. I'm 23 years old and have come to fully accept my fate to be a lonely old spinster. My friends are already calling me "auntie Kara." I'm Auntie Kara because that's what their kids will call me. I will be that crazy old lady who makes strange crafts all over the outside of my house. Kids in the neighborhood will be scared of me and start rumors that I'm some old lesbian with a basement full of snakes. If you are my neighbor, I'm sorry, I will probably lower the value of your home. My friends will invite me over on holidays and their kids will call me "auntie" even though we are not related. I will bring home a new dog or cat every week...but not a cute one, one no one wants. I will teach an art class on wednesday nights at the local adult school, and my class will be called "replacing sex with painting." Anyways this is the direction that my life is heading, so I'm starting this blog to either help other spinsters feel less alone, or if you are just a normal person having a bad day...My hope is to make you laugh.
